Bob Behind Bars

April 6th, 2008

Is that a headline or a dream
Could it be bold prophecy
Are things far worse now than they seem
In Zim’s tears and tyranny

Corruption is too kind a word
So is petty thievery
This mounting evil is absurd
Presidential felony

Elections he’s hijacked before
Were more difficult to prove
But now folks really know the score
Wickedness they must remove

Runoff elections are a farce
In a race already won
Though voter turnout did seem sparse
Bob’s runoff was truly done

Blind justice is not deaf and dumb
Nor are cameras taking note
We don’t need a referendum
To run off this stubborn goat

Open hand covered fist hands-down
Though Bob’s teeth may still be clenched
Zimbabwe’s given him thumbs-down
And regime which he entrenched

Bankrupting Zim whilst buying time
Is but one of his foul deeds
His cornucopia of crime
And foul murder supersedes

Don’t beat him up behind some bar
Or break his bones with crowbars
A hangman’s noose is best by far
Or life behind some real bars

Of Politicians and Nappies…

March 28th, 2008

Politicians and nappies have one thing in common, they need to be changed, and for the same reason…

Howzit All!

January 25th, 2008

Many of you don’t know me from Adam, but I have been writing on the internet for about 3 years.

For my sins, I run “The Bearded Man“, “Messages From Zimbabwe” and also produce a weekly podcast “ZNU Podcast” (in the right hand side bar of my main blog).

Thanks to Gordon for the invite to start some writings here, and my intention is to not duplicate the work I do elsewhere, but to hopefully bring an entirely new focus on the problems in Zimbabwe.

I write to spread the word, not for personal notoriety, and sincerely hope that you will make this page one that you regularly visit.

Hopefully it won’t take me long to get into the swing of things.

Take care.
